It’s interesting to learn the stories behind the faces of the homeless on skid row. Some have been there for weeks while others much longer; each person has a journey that brought them to the streets. Whatever the reason, just 20 minutes from the lavish mansions of Beverly Hills, this is a place many choose to pass by quickly. But it’s not until you walk these streets (with a group) and hear the stories of those who are down-and-out do you begin to realize that this place can’t be forgotten. Skid row is filled with individual people who need help. This is why a team of volunteers from Harvest regularly make their way to the Fred Jordan Mission on Skid Row to encourage and feed those who are less fortunate and homeless.
